After more than 30 years in programming development with IBM, it was time to retire. And I was ready for something else. I call that something “Shoulder to Shoulder Computer Training & Consulting”. I didn’t want to extend beyond my software knowledge; I didn’t want to build extensive programs for people; I wanted to make sure that others could get a benefit from using a personal computer even if they didn’t understand it like a geek or want to be a computer aficionado.
Since 2002, I have been providing my computer training services to individuals and small businesses on a one-on-one basis (or as I prefer to say, “Shoulder to Shoulder”.) I work with new computer users as well as experienced users who wanted to develop new skills and stop fighting with their computers. Computers have become an essential part of everyday life and I want everyone to be able to use them to their fullest.
I teach computers how to behave for their owners!
